1. How are your caregivers screened for employment?
Each caregiver is required to complete the following before employment with Sitters Etc.:
a. Criminal Background Check
b. Social Security Number Verification
c. Abuse Registry Check
d. Sexual Abuse Registry Check
e. Verification of Residences For 7 years
Furthermore, each caregiver is bonded and insured.

2. Where and when are your services provided?
Our services are provided in homes, assisted/independent living facilities, hospitals, and nursing homes from four hours per day to twenty-four hours per day, one day a week to seven days per week.

3. Do long term care policies cover your services?
Yes. We will verify coverage with your insurance company and provide all necessary paperwork for billing purposes.

4. Are caregivers employees or independent contractors?
Each caregiver is an employee of Sitters Etc., therefore, all wages, taxes, and insurance coverage is the responsibility of Sitters Etc.

5. How and when can I begin services?
Contact your local office to schedule a free in home consultation so we can determine services to be rendered, times of service, and caregiver qualities which will be well suited for your loved one.
